L’industria chimica Caffaro, attiva dal 1906,è stata messa sotto sequestro dalla magistratura a causa di un danno ambientale, rappresentato da un livello altissimo di cromo nell’acqua. Il caso Caffaro scoppiò nel 2001, quando si scoprì un fortissimo inquinamento da PCB imputato all’industria stessa.
Caffaro chemical industry, active since 1906, was seized by the judiciary due to environmental damage, represented by a very high level of chromium in the water. The Caffaro case broke out in 2001, when a very strong PCB pollution was discovered in the ground attributed to the industry itself.
