Metropoliz è una fabbrica dismessa nel quartiere di Tor Sapienza, a Roma. Vi coabitano circa duecento persone provenienti da diverse regioni del mondo e ospita il MAAM, museo dell’altro e dell’altrove di Metropoliz. La fabbrica è stata occupata nel marzo del 2009 dai Blocchi Precari Metropolitani in collaborazione con Popica Onlus che si occupa della scolarizzazione dei bambini rom.
Metropoliz is an abandoned factory in the Tor Sapienza district of Rome. It is home to about two hundred people from different regions of the world and houses the MAAM, a museum of the other and the elsewhere in Metropoliz. The factory was occupied in March 2009 by Metropolitan Precarious Blocks in collaboration with Popica Onlus, which deals with the schooling of gypsy children.
