Dopo due anni e mezzo di commissariamento per mafia, il 5 novembre Ostia torna al voto per eleggere il presidente della decima circoscrizione di Roma. Con quasi 300.000 abitanti Ostia è come se fosse un’isola sulla terraferma, distante una trentina di chilometri dal centro della città , con problemi di criminalità pervasiva, di incuria del territorio e degrado delle poche strutture di aggregazione sociale. Problemi lasciati marcire ai quali i cittadini, per molti versi disillusi da anni di malgoverno, chiederanno risposta alla prossima amministrazione.
After two and a half years of commissioning for mafia, on 5 November Ostia retur to the vote for elect the president of the tenth circumscription of Rome. With almost 300,000 inhabitants Ostia is as an island on the mainland, about thirty kilometers from the city center, with problems of pervasive crime, neglect of the territory and degradation of the few structures of social aggregation. Problems left rotten, to which the citizens, disillusioned in many ways by years of mismanagement, will ask the next administration to respond.
