Il giorno dei morti nel lago del Peten, in Guatemala, si celebra portando in processione tre crani veri. Sono stati trovati durante i lavori di costruzione della chiesa. Il prete, spagnolo, non puo’ far altro che rispettare questa tradizione, anche se nella processione indossa abiti civili. I teschi vengono portati nelle case di chi durante l’anno ha perso un familiare.
Day of the Dead in Lake Peten, in Guatemala, is celebrated bringing in processions three real skulls. They were found during the construction of the church. The priest, even if he is Spanish, respect this tradition, although in the procession he is wearing civilian clothes. The skulls are brought into the homes of those who has lost a family member during the year.
