Nel giorno in cui l’Irlanda dice si alle nozze gay, a Como sono scesi in piazza le Sentinelle in piedi, un gruppo di cittadini, alcuni dei quali appartenenti a Comunione e liberazione, Movimento cristiano lavoratori, Alleanza cattolica e Movimento per la vita che hanno scelto di protestare in silenzio, leggendo per un’ora, in piedi, libri, contro i matrimoni omosessuali. Separati dalla polizia, un contro-presidio della comunità Lgbt, ma anche di cittadini ed esponenti dei centri sociali. A sorpresa, alcuni gay e lesbiche si sono baciati a lungo, suscitando gli sguardi di disapprovazione dei sostenitori del «matrimonio naturale». 23 maggio 2015
In the day that Ireland says yes to gay marriage, in Como took to the streets the Standing Sentinels, a group of citizens, some of whom belong to the Communion and Liberation Movement, Christian Workers, Alliance Catholic and pro-life movement that chose to protest in silence, reading for an hour, standing, books, against same-sex marriages. Separate from the police, a counter-demonstration of the LGBT community, but also citizens and representatives of the social centers.
